South West Tree Services is owned and operated by Glen and Jo Taylor, part of a family of arborists with multiple generations of experience working across WA’s South West. Trees have always been the family trade, and that history underpins how we work today.

Over decades, our family and team has worked with native and introduced tree species across coastal, forest and inland environments. That experience means we understand how South West trees respond to local soils, seasonal weather and land use changes.

Today, our experienced team is led in the field by Manager Jason Lewis, who brings several decades of industry knowledge and a genuine passion for tree health. Jason oversees a skilled crew of arborists and ground staff, with a strong focus on in-house training, mentorship and ongoing upskilling to ensure the next generation of arborists is just as capable and committed as those who came before them.

Conservation-minded arboriculture

We believe good arboriculture isn’t about removing trees unnecessarily. Wherever possible, we prioritise tree health, risk management and long-term outcomes.

That may involve targeted pruning, soil improvement, mulching or monitoring rather than removal. When removal is required, we do it carefully, responsibly and with a clear plan.
